As every year, we actively joined the celebrations of FSC Forest Week – an initiative that reminds us of the importance of caring for the environment and using natural resources responsibly.
For this year’s edition, we partnered with two educational institutions: Primary School in Krzycko Wielkie and Primary School No. 2 in Bochnia. We prepared a range of engaging activities for students, tailored to their age and interests.
As part of the initiative, we provided classrooms with trash bags and disposable gloves, which were used during a community clean-up of nearby forests and parks. The collected waste was picked up by local forestry services – and the most surprising find of the day turned out to be… an iron!
The youngest students took part in an art competition titled “How Do We Care for Forests?” Every participant received a prize, and the best works in each class were additionally recognized with special gifts from our company. The creativity, enthusiasm, and attention to detail shown by the young artists were truly impressive.
For the older students, we prepared an educational presentation about the history of our company, what we do, and the role of the FSC organization – explaining why supporting such initiatives is so important. The session concluded with a knowledge quiz, featuring questions about waste segregation. The top three participants received prizes sponsored by our company.
