8TH BIRTHDAY OF THE PRODUCTION PLANT IN BOCHNIA!

The first day of April was special for the Werner Kenkel Bochnia Plant, because on that day it celebrated its 8th birthday.

Even though according to the calendar, spring has already started, and quite recently the thermometer in Bochnia showed 20 degrees, we had to celebrate Easter in a truly winter atmosphere, with falling snow and a temperature close to zero.

However, this did not scare anyone and we decided to celebrate the holiday by planting eight oak trees, in order to commemorate eight years of our activity. It is worth mentioning the variety of oaks that will accompany us and grow with us for years to come. These are Quercus Robur “Fastigiata Koster”, i.e. beautiful pedunculate oaks characterised by columnar crowns. The trees were planted by representatives of individual departments of the company and each of them received a unique name.

The production plant in Bochnia started producing packaging in 2014 as a team of 40 people. Today, the plant also produces corrugated cardboard and currently employs 350 people.
