WERNER KENKEL AS AN OFFICIAL CULTURAL PATRON OF THE MUNICIPAL PUBLIC LIBRARY IN LESZNO

Together we can do more!

On Thursday, 23 February, at the headquarters of our company in Krzycko Wielkie, an agreement was signed under which Werner Kenkel officially became the Cultural Patron of the Municipal Public Library in Leszno. This means that in 2023 we will work together to develop reading and co-create a place that, due to the variety of events taking place there, can be certainly called the Culture Gallery.

We are impressed by the new headquarters of the Municipal Public Library and the scale at which it operates. We are glad that we can contribute to the development of this important place on the cultural map of the region.
One of the assumptions of our company’s philosophy is to act for the local community, from which we originate and which we create. For us, social involvement is not only an element building the image of the Werner Kenkel Group but, above all, proof of our long-term, responsible thinking – said the company’s President, Damian Kenkel, during the meeting.

Although we operate in completely different industries, we definitely have passion and unconventional thinking in common. That is why we immediately found a common language and I am glad that together we will implement projects that will serve our Readers – said the Director of the Municipal Public Library, Andrzej Kuźmiński, when signing the contract.

The Director of the Municipal Public Library in Leszno, Andrzej Kuźmiński, and a group of his colleagues had the opportunity to visit the flexographic plant, talk to its employees and learn more about the history and operating principles of our company.

“Werner Kenkel reads to children”

Our employees and their children visited the new, impressive headquarters of the Municipal Public Library in Leszno. During the event titled “Werner Kenkel reads to children”, stories for the youngest listeners were read out by President Adam and our colleagues. It was the first meeting of this type, but judging by the satisfied faces, bursting energy and great curiosity of the children – we hope that it will not be the last one… In cooperation with the Library, we made sure that the agenda of the day was as full and interesting as possible for both the young and adult guests. The scenery of the children’s reading room was unique and, as you probably can guess, it was made entirely of cardboard by our designers. From Saturday onwards, you can see a dinosaur, a cave and a bonfire at the Municipal Public Library in Leszno at Plac Metziga 25 – to which we cordially invite you. The place is modern, spacious and unlike any other. Anyway, you have to see it yourself!
